New Top End PC freezing during games Assistance!
I'm quite knowledgeable about technology and have conducted extensive research before posting here, but I'm hoping someone here can provide information I haven't found. I recently purchased a brand new Corsair i8100 PC with the following specifications:
CPU: Intel i9-13900KS
Graphics Card: NVIDIA RTX 4090 FE
Memory: 64GB DDR5-6800
Storage: 4TB (2x 2TB M.2 SSD)
Monitor: Alienware aw3423dwf
Based on the details, it should handle games at maximum settings without issues.
I keep myself updated with the latest graphics drivers. I've tried running the game as an administrator and limited the frame rate to 144.
Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Memory: 64GB DDR5-6800 is it two or four sticks of RAM? How is the processor being cooled? What is the BIOS version for your motherboard? The make and model of your motherboard might be useful. You may want to run DDU, then remove all GPU drivers from your platform, and manually reinstall the latest GPU driver from Nvidia's support site using an elevated command—Right click installer > Run as Administrator. What is the make and model of your PSU?
I have two 32gb RAM sticks installed. The processor is cooled by a CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX. The motherboard uses a Z790-A PRO WiFi DDR5. I completed a clean GPU driver setup using Nvidia's update tool. The power supply is a CORSAIR 1000W 80+ GOLD unit. I attached a screenshot containing my system details.
I began playing MW3 yesterday and the same issue continues, indicating the problem lies on the PC rather than R6Siege. I'm running a memory test now and plan to perform a clean graphics driver install using DDU after that, provided there are no further errors.
I completed the memory test and everything is functioning properly. I also performed a DDU uninstallation of the graphics drivers and installed the updated version not via GeForce Experience. So far, I've played one game without any crashes. I'll check again after more games if the problem continues.
Updated 3: I experienced another crash this morning *sigh*. I contacted Corsair support who guided me through several actions.
1: They instructed me to use the Corsair Windows Reporter Utility to transmit my event logs and other files.
2: Based on the logs, here are the steps I followed to search for and repair corrupt system files:
Open Start
Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result, and choose Run as administrator.
Enter the following command and press Enter:
sfc /SCANNOW
After the scan completes, type:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Once that finishes, type:
chkdsk /f /r
You might be asked if the volume is in use and to schedule the scan after restarting. If so, type “y” and reboot the PC.
After the chkdsk scan, test your system.
I’ve played around three games since and haven’t encountered any crashes yet. I’ll update later after further testing to confirm if it resolved the problem. Hope it works.
