I'm setting up my first PC, but it won't work near the router until I relocate soon. I'm considering a wireless card but don't know which one to pick. Any advice would be helpful. The build includes an nzxt h510 case, an ASUS ROG Strix X470, a Ryzen 2700X, a Gigabyte RX 5600 XT, a Samsung EVO 970 500GB M.2 NVMe, and a 1TB Western Digital SSD.

If it's temporary, I'd suggest any POS WiFi adapter would suffice. For better performance, a PCIe card supporting at least WiFi 5 (AC) is recommended. If you need something more practical, a built-in WiFi card with Bluetooth could be a good choice.

TP link Archer T6e is a WiFi-only card for around $35. I prefer Bluetooth and own an MSI AC905C which includes both features. Around $30 works as long as you choose a reputable brand. The Asus AC 3100 is fast and costs about $100. All the cards I mentioned are PCIe compatible.

Thanks for the feedback. I found the idea of Bluetooth interesting as well. I hadn't considered it before.
