All the slots appear ready for the same performance level. The M2Q slot also uses its bandwidth from the SATA ports, though it doesn’t affect your situation if you’re not connecting more than four SATA drives.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I’ll remember this. I’m also planning to acquire a few large spinning disks for my retro gaming backup, though this will suffice for now.
