You can activate ECO mode. I’m not sure if it’s set in Ryzen Master or the BIOS. This lowers the power usage from 88W to about 60W, which helps reduce temperatures without significantly affecting performance.

You can also lower the CPU voltage directly in BIOS. This will help it run cooler. Gradually reduce the VCore until the system starts acting strange, then make small adjustments back up. I built a similar PC with the same chip and it ran smoothly at around 1.4V, which was quiet and efficient.

This chip employs a technique known as (PBO2 precision boost overdrive 2), which adjusts the core frequencies based on available heat capacity. You could also achieve higher speeds by reducing the operating voltage, since it offers greater flexibility in that regard.

It shouldn’t happen this way (rarely). Keep your BIOS and chipset drivers updated and hope the issue resolves; otherwise, consider creating a manual power plan. Note: My 3600 sometimes caps at 4.2 during heavy use, possibly due to an unconfirmed setting—my other configurations remain at defaults. It seems like an auto boost feature, but it might need a CMOS reset to turn on automatically. I’m not sure why it’s not enabled by default, but it should work once reset.

There’s clearly an issue with your configuration. Restart your BIOS by turning off the PC, disconnecting the power cable, pressing the power button for ten seconds, removing the CMOS battery (the round one on your motherboard), waiting ten minutes, then reinserting the battery. This should refresh your BIOS settings. Your CPU seems to be constantly increasing its performance, which isn’t normal or healthy. Also, check the Reddit link I shared—it provides a detailed explanation and troubleshooting steps.
