Hey from Texas, just wanted to share my thoughts before starting a new build. My budget is around 2k USD, and while I feel I’ve got a decent setup, I’d appreciate some feedback—whether it’s positive, negative, or if there’s a better value. My current TV is an old Vizeo 65" 1080P, but with time I might upgrade to a 4K model to fully utilize this rig. I lean toward air cooling for better longevity compared to AIOs, since I usually build my own rigs only when the games I want can’t keep up on the existing hardware. I’d rather invest a bit now than have to upgrade soon. I plan to get a simple Windows 11 install USB from Amazon and a CD key elsewhere. Thanks ahead for any thoughts!

It might help if you try this link. PCPARTPICKER connections can sometimes be unusual.

This CPU seems like a solid pick if gaming is your main focus. You might have some minor concerns about the cooler or power supply, but overall it looks fine. Have you made sure the CPU cooler fits in the case? PC Part Picker usually checks that, but it's worth confirming again.

The case accommodates up to 175mm CPU AIR coolers, and the cooler I chose is 154mm tall. My main focus is on gaming and everyday use, ensuring long-term reliability without issues. The color choice doesn't matter much since my favorite is black. However, the PSU should complement the overall look of the PC. Black aesthetics are important to me when it really matters.

Thanks for the suggestions! I chose the RAM and CPU cooler you mentioned, but kept using the case I originally selected.
