Hello, I aimed to enhance my PC with additional RAM for CAD design. I checked my current setup and purchased the same product, the Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LED 2x8GB 3000 Red. After installing the two new sticks, the system started working but later began showing error messages. Once I removed the new sticks, everything functioned normally. Noticing a minor change, the old units were labeled "ver5.30" while the new ones are "ver5.32". Could this version difference be causing the issue? Anyone know what this means? Thanks in advance for your help. Moesnie

Hello there. It looks like you retained XMP from your earlier RAM setup. Remove the existing modules, restart into BIOS, disable XMP, and then reinstall the new ones before attempting to boot again.

Hello, I spent some time checking if XMP was enabled, but it wasn’t. I also tested the memory on another PC at home, which worked once and failed otherwise, suggesting a faulty chip. I’ll return them and hope the new ones work better. Thanks for the reminder, I gained more insight into XMP.
