Sorry, this wasn't addressed elsewhere. Please find the link to the relevant information. I had a Corsair Vengeance LX 8GB and planned to upgrade to RGB Pro SL 16x2 but after switching I didn't see any progress. Lights and fan worked but nothing else occurred. I switched back and it posted again, booting into Windows. CMOS cleared; no overclocking is done. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 3600 on an x470 Aorus gaming motherboard with a CPU, GPU, MSI 2060 Super Mobo, Aorus X470 Gaming 5 Power, and EVGA 750W Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL 16x2/8x2 storage. Two HDDs (1TB/4TB), two SSDs (250GB/500GB), OS on Windows 10 32-bit. Updated February 11, 2023 by NotAvgGeek.
Check the old RAM speed, compare it with the new one. Verify if the new RAM appears in the motherboard's QCL compatibility list. A BIOS update might be necessary.
