I'm using an AMD Ryzen 2200G with a Gigabyte GTX 1060 3Gb MSI A320M PRO-VH PLUS 8GB RAM and a 3200MHz RAM setup. My motherboard lists 3200MHz RAM, but I’m unsure how to adjust it properly. For overclocking the CPU, I need a budget-friendly motherboard that still supports stable performance. Let me know if you'd like more details!

DDR4 RAM operates at 2133MHz by default, but most AM4 boards allow 2666MHz as an overclock. Manufacturers clearly label this as an overclock since stock speeds are lower. Even with kits rated for 3200Mhz, achieving them isn't guaranteed. Activating DOCP (XMP) in your BIOS usually auto-adjusts the memory to its maximum speed. If you encounter a blue screen with memory codes, it likely points to an overclock issue, requiring manual adjustment.

I don't have a specific budget, but I can help you manage or track one if needed.

Overall it's challenging, but for RAM you can stay within budget and find an 80 USD Crucial Baseline with 16GB DDR4-3200. When it comes to the motherboard, choose this one.
