I just upgraded my FX6300 to a Ryzen 5 2600, ROG Strix B350F motherboard, and Patriot Viper (PVE48G266C6GY). I also have a 650W gold PSU and the CPU is running in a custom loop. With $400, I aimed for mid-range performance. I have some experience with overclocking and was able to get the CPU up to 4.2GHz @ 1.28125 (which seems reasonable for that speed). However, when I enable DOCP to set RAM to 2666, it fails to boot. The system is set to 16-17-17-36 at 1.2. I've also tried entering the settings manually in Ryzen Master, but still can't get it to work. I'm looking for advice or help and really want to learn more. Love this stuff!

DCP might not adhere to XMP precisely; consider adjusting the memory voltage manually.

I've already attempted to go to 1.32 without success. The highest I've managed is up to 2400mhz @ 14-15-15-34. I think the RAM stick might be mislabeled. On the website, it says 2666 @ 16-18-18-36 1.2v, but the documentation lists 16-17-17-36 and I've tried using the advertised timings without success.

Under EPROM > Read SPD... will identify your exact memory.
I've got it now.

The memory is stable at 2400 and 14-15-15-34 1.2v, but I can't reach 2666 for the life of this thread.

It's interesting, only XMP works at 2666 MHz.
