New processor, thoughts?
Hey everyone, I've been dealing with this PC problem for quite some time now—it's really getting to my patience. It's super sensitive and tends to crash frequently. After a month of stable performance, it's starting to become a real hassle every day. I'm thinking about switching platforms. Right now I have an R7 5800X with an MSI X570 Meg Ace board, and I could get both for roughly £350-£400 on eBay. Would it make sense to upgrade to an i5 12400F plus a Gigabyte B660 Gaming X DDR4? I know it means losing two cores, but both models are available for around £350 new. Thoughts? George
