I don’t understand BitLocker at all. I’m not sure if it’s turned on, and I’d like to know how to verify or turn it off. Appreciate your assistance!
If it isn’t turned on by default, you should be okay. You can be sure it’s not included unless you specify otherwise. Running Windows 10 Home confirms this since it doesn’t come with it. For certainty, restart to Windows, type "manage bitlocker" in the search bar, and all the information will appear!
You can simply press "N" to return to your standard Windows setup.
You would know for sure if BitLocker was enabled. If you've never used it (most likely, since you didn't know what it was) then don't worry about it.
