New PC, Windows 11, Wi-Fi issues before logging in
I purchased a new Alienware R16 on Black Friday and it's performing well so far. However, I've encountered a problem with my previous PC where Wi-Fi connection only starts after logging in. Programs such as Steam and Ubisoft Connect report issues because the computer waits for login before connecting, taking 10 to 15 seconds. My last setup connected instantly upon appearing on the login screen. I searched online for solutions but found nothing effective. I attempted to adjust power settings for the Wi-Fi adapter and enabled GP in the settings, though I don't have access to a GP editor. The Wi-Fi icon appears during login, but only airplane mode is available. Any suggestions? It's an Intel AX210, just a minor inconvenience. TIA!
What actions should be taken when not logged in? How should the system behave if it starts loading before login?
I attempted to use a USB Wi-Fi dongle, turned off the AX210, and restarted the system. The computer connected to Wi-Fi during login, indicating a problem with the AX210. Is there a configuration option to adjust for connectivity? Additional suggestions?
