New PC keeps crashing continuously
Hi everyone
I recently assembled a new PC and have run into some bothersome problems.
Here are the details:
- Intel Core i7-14700K
- Gigabyte Z790 AORUS ELITE AX
- Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) at 6000MHz CL36
- No GPU installed yet (planning to purchase one soon)
- Only XMP enabled and Windows 11 installed
I’ve only done some browsing and downloaded drivers from Gigabyte’s site for my motherboard. The PC has been working fine until a random moment when it shuts off or crashes—either through a BSOD or strange color displays on the screen. I’m aware of the recent problems linked to 14th generation Intel chips, but I updated the motherboard firmware before starting up.
Someone might know what to do next, so any advice would be really helpful. Thank you!
Power supply model and make, along with its overall age, have been confirmed. Components previously used are noted. This kit is verified to be included in the motherboard QVL.
All parts are brand new
Power supply is a RM750e from Corsair
