Hey there, just got a new PC and I'm using an NVMe drive for the first time. I was really excited because for about three years I've been running an old Sandisk 256GB SSD that would boot up in around 20-25 seconds. Now I'm using a Samsung 980 Evo and it's taking about 40 seconds to start up. According to Task Manager, my last BIOS time was 43.1 seconds. It's almost twice as slow compared to my SSD. I've been trying to fix this all day and honestly don't know what's going on. I'll check the replies tomorrow, but this is making me think about giving up on PC gaming for a day now.

When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's standard to provide complete system details. Please format the specs as follows:
CPU: CPU cooler: Motherboard: RAM: SSD/HDD: GPU: PSU: Chassis: OS: Monitor: include PSU age and current BIOS version for your motherboard.
Did you recycle your storage drives from your previous build?
