New PC experiencing unusual problems
You recently got a new PC about three to four weeks ago. It runs Windows 11 with a 750W gold PSU and a 4070/Intel i7-13700F processor. I’ve noticed some strange problems where the computer suddenly freezes unexpectedly—sometimes while playing games, other times not. The audio plays normally, but the screen freezes and turns black after a few seconds. The only solution seems to be forcing the power button to shut it down. I’ve logged many kernel events, though they don’t line up with the exact moment of crashes or freezes. I’ve tried several fixes: updating BIOS and chipset, performing a clean driver reinstall in SafeMode, swapping RAM sticks, running stress tests on 3DMark for CPU and GPU performance, doing a fresh Windows install, and cleaning up other minor settings. Still, I’m unsure what to tackle next.
