New pc build with I7 7700k
Hi there
I assembled my first PC with these specifications:
MSI Z270 Gaming Pro
I7 7700k OC'd to 5ghz (voltage peaks at 1.368, set up adaptive for lower when needed)
MSI RX 480 OC'd to 1350mhz & memory 2150mhz (added only 15% power on afterburner, temps stay under 75)
Arctic freezer 240 water cooler
16gb Ram Crucial Sport OC'd from 2400 to 2666mhz with clocks 15-15-15-36 (voltage at 1.26)
500gb SSD Crucial BX100
Corsair RM650x PSU
Everything seems stable, no crashes after over 40 hours of gaming on Warhammer eternal crusade & elder scrolls online (temperatures range from low 60s to mid 70s). Ran several realbench stress tests and observed temperatures fluctuating between 70-80.
Based on these overclocking settings, do you think the temperatures during games and tests look acceptable?

the i7-7700k tends to get warm, reports show temperature increases everywhere even after using aggressive custom loops and delidding, so just disregard it unless you want a crash.
Adjusted the CPU to 4.8ghz and observed in Realbench the CPU V stays near 1.264 (bios at 1.235). During games, temperatures never exceeded 60, and under stress testing they hovered around 65-68. Experimented with fan speeds for both CPU and GPU, and everything is now very quiet even under load. The GPU remained stable between 75-80 during gaming. Overall satisfied with the initial setup and planning to aim for 5 1/5.2 next time.
