New 4070 Models - Black Display, Maximum Fan Operation
Evening readers,
My recent PC setup after the previous one faced problems. The new build was assembled correctly and performed well initially. However, after about two hours of gaming, the screen went dark while the fans reached their maximum speed. I still managed to hear audio but no visuals. A short while later, the system rebooted normally, though it continued to function without issues.

I performed a scan using fresh drivers from DDU and verified all components were up to date. After 30 minutes in another game, the issue recurred, though I captured a video at that moment.

I removed the dust covers to check for overheating, but monitoring tools never recorded temperatures exceeding 70°C for the GPU or 60°C for the CPU.

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. All parts are brand new.
Parts List:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU: Founders Edition RTX 4070
RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5/5600mhz
MB: ASUS PRIME B650-Plus: ATX
Storage: 2TB M.2
PSU: Corsair 850e
Case: Corsair 220T

the gpu test in another system produced the same result, and you confirmed the power cable is securely connected. You also checked that using a generic os driver worked fine before installing the new gpu.

I'm experiencing the same problem with my 3060Ti... Before I sent it in for repair, I encountered an issue when I wasn't connected to the GPU... I connected it via HDMI to my motherboard's video output, which led me to suspect the card was the problem.
I sent in the card for repair. While it was being processed, I used an older 1060 and everything worked fine. After receiving the new card, I played Diablo 4 for about 8 hours and then faced the same issues at the end of the night, and again this morning.
I'm now considering purchasing a new PSU because I believe the company might have used a generic one (listed as Standard PSU on the invoice), which could be my fault for not checking before ordering.
So far, I think the RAM might be the cause, but since I can still use the motherboard video output, it's unclear.
I just got the RM850x on the way...
