I own an older Q8300 CPU from 2008 and a single R7 350 GPU. I’m considering replacing the CPU, motherboard, and upgrading to a Ryzen 7 3700X. Will there be noticeable differences in game performance? I’m just checking my current setup to see what I have before making the switch. I plan to upgrade everything except the GPU in the future. For now, I’m just curious about how much improvement I can expect.

The card will maintain the same results. Still, the updated components would definitely improve performance. You could encounter some delays in processing.

Occasionally on ultra preset I noticed frame drops when playing League of Legends, even with the new CPU.

It depends on whether your CPU stays at full capacity during gameplay. If it doesn’t, LoL isn’t a heavy CPU task and adjusting the CPU has little impact. But increasing RAM could help. -> Moved to PC Gaming

I possess an 8 GB DDR2 800 MHz RAM and plan to upgrade to a 16 GB DDR4 3600 MHz memory.

You'll likely experience more consistent performance at runtime with a more powerful CPU, though your GPU will limit overall speed until you replace it

With that motherboard and CPU, you won't be able to use it. It only supports DDR2. However, 8GB of DDR2 should be sufficient for your needs.

I plan to upgrade everything except the GPU for now. I don’t have enough money for a GPU, and in Greece, GPUs are more costly compared to other countries.

You don't require a costly GPU for League of Legends. I'm using an integrated GPU on my AMD Ryzen 3500U laptop and achieve 80-100 FPS with everything running smoothly. Don't think you need a 300 euro GPU for this.
