I recently added an NVMe storage device to my computer, but it’s been acting up after sleep. The screen backlights come on and the keyboard/mouse lights up, yet nothing appears. Interestingly, someone else who installed the same SSD is facing the same issues, so it’s not just a personal problem. Here are all the troubleshooting steps I’ve tried so far!

Open the BIOS and verify the following settings: PCIe ASPM should be turned off for the M.2 port where your NVMe SSD is connected. This avoids putting the SSD into an unrecoverable low-power mode. Adjust C-States to a less demanding level (such as C3 instead of C6/C7). Activate ErP Ready to guarantee correct power handling for peripherals when the system sleeps.

Apologies for the delayed reply. I followed your advice and achieved some progress, but my PC still faces issues with frequent power-on problems. Have you considered additional troubleshooting steps? Also, please keep in mind that when it does wake up, the lights on my keyboard cease functioning and I don’t see a login page—just jump straight to the desktop.
