I regularly clean this setup, even after taking out the GPU, but once I power it back on and start gaming, the screen goes black and the system freezes. I have to press the I/O PSU button and restart. There were periods without problems when I didn’t remove the GPU, but now it’s happening again. I’ve checked all drivers and software updates, and nothing seems to need updating right now. My OS is Windows 11... could this be related? I’m feeling stuck and would really appreciate any help or suggestions.

The system either halts or resumes its memory training process.

Thank you for your feedback. The display becomes unresponsive, showing an input prompt before functioning normally. Apologies if the explanation was unclear—please let me know if you'd like a clearer guide on memory training methods. I’m unsure about the exact process but can help outline options.

The training for Ryzen AM5 involves the computer starting up and displaying a black screen for nearly a minute before resuming the boot sequence. An updated BIOS might slightly shorten this duration.

It’s clearly not working like that. As soon as the screen disappears, I need to restart using the Io switch. I’m unsure whether the issue is a configuration problem or if my GPU has been damaged.

The GPU functions properly after the correct steps are followed. It seems to depend on BIOS settings—removing it might reset certain configurations, and power cycling helps. After cleaning, check if BIOS adjusted the PCIE Video setting. Since the CMOS battery keeps powering the BIOS even when off, it could send signals. I’m not familiar with this process, as I haven’t removed my GPU before.

Thanks in advance. First, I’ll definitely look into it. Second, I’m going to double-check everything, then I’ll try to relax a bit and let the card sit for cleaning. Thanks for your help—it’s my third build and this is the first using AM5 with DDR5. Appreciate your patience! Have a great day!
