Hello, I recently moved from a 1660ti to a 4070 and now Apex feels choppy. It might be screen tearing, but it's difficult to confirm. The most accurate description is that the frame rate reports at 158fps, yet it seems much lower—around 60 or 75. I've seen some discussions about similar problems, but none of the fixes have helped so far. I checked the frametime, which appears stable at about 5.8 seconds (around 6ms). The issue also shows up in Cyberpunk 2077, along with other performance concerns such as the game not rendering as expected on MAX settings without RT.

Specs:
Ryzen 5 5600x
Rtx 4070
32gb 3600mhz memory
Windows 11
1440p
Monitor: LG 27GP850-B Ultragear (extended adaptive sync)
I have G-sync enabled, Windows hardware accelerated GPU scheduling on, and VRR on.

I've already performed a clean Windows install and am using the default NVCP settings, except for V-Sync which is off.

this conclusion is based on your past experiences with high-performance systems, the components you used, and what you've encountered in real-world scenarios.

I'm experiencing high stable frames, yet it appears the game is operating at a lower FPS. Despite having maximum settings in Cyber Punk 2077, the textures seem to be using medium settings. The original version had its own performance challenges. Earlier, I was running on a 1660ti.

Did you mean better Apex results with the 1660 ti? Or are you questioning if the 4070 feels like a minor improvement? What is the model of the 4070?

The settings quality was reduced, yet it felt noticeably smoother. However, reverting to my 1660ti produced the same outcome as the 4070. It's an MSI Gaming X Trio 4070.
