New mobile and processor installed, booted into BIOS yesterday but white VGA indicator now active today
Purchased a new case, motherboard, and CPU. Everything appeared normal when I installed it yesterday. The main problem was that it started up in BIOS and couldn't recognize any bootable device. I thought a fresh Windows installation would be necessary, but I managed to do it the following day. This morning, I can't even access the BIOS, and the motherboard's white VGA light is lit. Any suggestions on what might have happened or how to resolve this?
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
I purchased a fresh case, a motherboard, and a CPU.
Have you reinstalled the operating system after swapping the motherboard?
The power supply is a modular 850w gold unit.
Could you share the make and model of your system? Also, how recent is the power supply in your build?
I haven't reinstalled the OS, so accessing the BIOS isn't possible. The PSU is a Thermaltake TR2 RX 850w, and I don't recall the purchase date. It might have been bought with a GTX 970 about seven years ago.
Following extensive troubleshooting, the motherboard is faulty and fails to detect any GPUs in any PCIe ports.
