Hello, welcome! I wanted to let you know this is my third try at explaining it, and I apologize in advance for any confusion or mistakes in grammar and structure. I recently purchased the new QD OLED G8 34BG85 from Samsung about a month ago. A week later, I noticed some issues. I suspect there might be artifacts—though I’m not entirely sure, as I’m actually pretty uneducated. I’m doing my best to clarify what’s happening. Just in case it helps, here are my system details: Intel 12900K, MSI Suprim X 3080 Ti, Corsair Dom. Plat 5200mhz DDR5, 32GB, Asus ROG Max Hero Z690 (ask if you need more info). The current problem is: bright green pixel lines starting from the bottom of the screen, about one pixel tall and varying in length. These lines flicker unpredictably—sometimes they stay on for a moment, other times they switch on and off randomly. Earlier this morning it got worse; now it’s flickering single pixels all over the screen in bright green. At the moment, the bottom lines aren’t flickering while the random pixels are moving around. I’ve tried everything to fix or change it, but nothing seems to work. Sometimes it happens when launching a game (rarely), especially if I switch tabs between Spotify, Discord, etc., and then it starts. It doesn’t always happen on the first or second try. The new symptom is that these lines appear suddenly without any clear trigger. I’ve tried turning off and on my PC, switching monitors, updating drivers, checking cables, and even restarting the system. Pressing Windows+CTRL+SHIFT and B to restart the GPU drivers didn’t help. I also checked the cable connection, but it seems fine. I’m trying another cable if needed, as local stores aren’t getting it. There are a couple of temporary fixes I’ve found: switching between full-screen apps (like games) a few times can sometimes clear it, and restarting the PC works too. I’ve also attached a video showing the flickering at the bottom of the screen for reference. Please let me know if this gives you any insight.

Best regards,
Alex

Is this the image you’re referring to? It seems to be a false-color picture with limited color depth, using only 8 bits instead of the full 24.

What I perceive comes from what I mentioned in my lengthy, poorly organized text—it's about what unfolds in shadowplay recordings. The visual tone in the recording shifts as it moves between what appears on the screen and standard hues.

Issues might be caused by unstable connections. Check each cable and port on the device, ensuring they're properly inserted and the contacts are tidy.

I notice a visual pattern on my screen that appears green and moves horizontally. These lines are about one pixel tall and seem to vary in length. It’s the movement of these lines that is causing concern.

Apparently it is a software issue on the monitor as a lot of other reports of the same thing happening to other owners/.
