Creating a fresh idea from nothing feels tougher than working with a well-known concept that already carries a lot of attention.

Updated the poll direction. I considered Uncharted 4 and Watch Dogs. The delays with UC4 seem intentional, aiming to match expectations, whereas Watch Dogs was a fresh project.

When introducing a fresh ip, idea, or sub-IP into a series, it will likely face strong resistance because it stands out too much from past titles or other games. Trying to remake an old IP feels like a nostalgia trap—people remember the good times but fear losing what made them happy. Honestly, nostalgia can be a double-edged sword.
