I have a fresh build, and I managed to get it running but the display stays black. The VGA indicator on the motherboard has turned red, yet after hours of checking I haven't identified the problem. I simplified everything to focus on the issue after receiving the error. Now I only have these details: CPU model Ryzen 7 7700x, motherboard Gigabyte B650 AORUS PRO AX ATX, RAM Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2x16) DDR5-6000/CL36, CPU cooler Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE, power supply Corsair RM1000x. I've tested using both my new GPU (7900XTX) and the old one (1070), tried using integrated graphics on the CPU, swapped RAM sticks in various configurations, and used all possible combinations—including one stick at a time. I’m certain the monitor and cable are working since I use them now. I’ve reset the CPU, rechecked all connectors, cleared CMOS. A few other observations might help: sometimes the DRAM error light activates during RAM swaps, it disappears after waiting (maybe memory training), or I have to return to original slots to fix the VGA issue. The CPU error light occasionally flashes red briefly at power on or off. I attempted a BIOS flash, but either I did it wrong despite following instructions or it didn’t work. From what I see, the exact RAM model isn’t officially confirmed compatible with this board, though Gigabyte lists it as potentially working. It’s possible the monitor port or cable failed, or the system rejected it. A reminder to verify basic components before moving to deeper troubleshooting steps.
