I recently purchased a new Lenovo Legion Y740 Gaming Laptop featuring a Core i7 2.2GHz processor, 32GB RAM, 1TB+512GB storage, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 8GB with 8GB of VRAM running Windows 10. I recently resumed gaming with an MMORPG, Everquest 2, experiencing frame rates around 11-14 FPS. Given the laptop’s new condition, should I install the latest Nvidia drivers? Or is there another potential issue related to my laptop settings? Any assistance or further suggestions would be appreciated, as I previously ran this game without problems on an older Nvidia card with 8GB of RAM.
