I need fresh games to enjoy. I'm looking for titles similar to Call of Duty or Fortnite (as they were in season 2), not just short sessions. I want to be excited about playing at home with my PC, not just watching YouTube. Are there any new triple A games that have a lot of players? I checked Steam but couldn't find anything. I miss the feeling of playing in 2016.

csgo if you can manage the community
don't opt for free-to-play either—it's really harmful. The first competitive game I tried with a free account had a cheater on my side and someone got banned mid-game on the opposing team.

GO – initially the first 20 games on F2P will be affected by hackers.
Here’s my preferred list of titles. Most are narrative-driven (and aren’t new), but they’re solid options. Make sure to check them out before purchasing:
Some of my top picks. These usually have small file sizes:
FTL Faster Than Light**(add mods)
Half-Life 2**
Rimworld**
Terraria
The Binding of Isaac
Thomas Was Alone**
Undertale
Castle Crashers
Trackmania (Just Stadium, not Turbo)
Creeper World 3*
Heavy Rain
Fahrenheit / Ingido Prophecy**
Beyond Two Souls**
LA Noir**
Fran Bow
Witcher 3**
Inside: Besiege
Cluster Truck
Don't Starve
Factorio
Hotline Miami
Kingdom
Limbo
Only If
Oxygen Not Included
Prison Architect
Quake 3
Risk of Rain
SpelunkySD
Stardew Valley
Super Meat Boy
The Beginner's Guide
The Escapists
The Forest
West of Loathing
Into The Breach
Gods Will Be Watching**
Bleed / Bleed 2
Doom / Doom 2
Democracy 3
SuperHot
They Are Billions
Sid Meyers Civ 5
Firewatch
Grim Fandango
No Time To Explain
PolyBridge
Subnautica
Year Walk

My preferences lean away from shooters and most triple A titles, but here are some suggestions: Rocket League, Crypt Of The NecroDancer, Overwatch.

It depends on what you're interested in. On Steam, most people focus on a few titles, but I have many games saved.

Stop by Epic Games and explore their shop. With games like Spellbreak, Borderlands 3, WW Z and countless others, you're sure to discover something that suits you.
