I launched it using standard Notepad, yet strange symbols emerged, reminiscent of opening a Word file in Notepad.

We don’t understand the symbols well, but they probably aren’t dangerous unless they hide something important. Take them out. It will free up about 1KB on your computer.

Both options are valid; Spanish applications use "archivo" instead of "file" for files like "C:\Archivos de Programas".

Reprise is available at http://www.reprisesoftware.com. They offer license management solutions, often using unique file names to handle licensing details. Are there any programs you've set up that rely on such licensing systems? @TheOskar57, have you applied for any software requiring a licensing approach?

I don't understand why, but this post just brought back memories of how to pull text from a Word file using WinRAR and Internet Explorer.
