New driver update caused frame drop
New driver update caused frame drop
that's my fault! I messed up by choosing a new driver instead of sticking with the old ones. I'll leave the new one alone so I don't break anything. Do I have to install a fresh set of drivers or can I just keep playing with what I already have? Let me check if the game runs smoothly on the old drivers, because that would tell us exactly what went wrong. Yeah, you can easily play fine without upgrading, especially if you get better results from the older stuff. Just wait a bit until the new ones come out after the current batch releases, and see if they cause any issues too. If nothing happens, keep them. You don't have to worry about that (; Remember though: for some big updates or when new games drop, sometimes you DO need the newest drivers just so those specific games actually run at all, since they won't work without it. I hope this helped!
weallj1994 : After I updated the new driver for battlefield 5, I suddenly lost all my frames in that game. It also happened to other games that were working before. The system won't let me change the driver anymore. Hello, I had a similar problem yesterday too. Then I rolled back my drivers to an older version released in November and fixed it. Alhamdrulillah! I used DDU to remove all my graphics drivers and then manually reinstalled the old one from NVIDIA's website. The GeForce card is acting weird again now.
Try this: Open the search bar and type Device Manager. Click on it, then go to Display adapters. Right-click on your graphics card and pick Properties. A window will pop up there. In it, click Roll Back Driver. After you finish doing that, make sure to restart your computer. Good luck! It worked for me.
Thanks so much bro!! I really appreciate your help😊 After updating a new driver for my gpi, my frame rate dropped way too much sometimes (up to 10-12 fps) and things weren't smooth. Now everything is working well again because I rolled back to the old driver! All thanks to you!!
