Just purchased this Cyberpower prebuilt from Best Buy (sorry, I’m a traitor). RTX 3070, i7 12th gen, 16 GB RAM. CPU has a master AI cooler. For light tasks like installing apps, browsing the web, or watching YouTube, everything works fine. But when I try to play a game, audio becomes distorted and it starts to crackle. After a few seconds the PC suddenly stops working, as if I cut the power. I’ve noticed: only a few USB devices are connected—just the mouse and keyboard. I changed the power outlet, turned off other devices on the same one, updated GPU, Wi-Fi, and Intel management drivers. Tried two different games—Escape from Tarkov and CS:GO—and restarted multiple times. Edited: before anyone asks, I popped out the packaging foam around the GPU. Also, I didn’t check the temperatures because they don’t seem that hot even by touch; the game runs smoothly until it shuts down instead of throttling, which suggests it’s not a cooling issue.

It seems the issue might not be with the system but with temperatures. Have you attempted to adjust the GPU, RAM, or any connectors?
