New CSGO bug??
New CSGO bug??
Here’s a rewritten version of the text:
I’m experiencing significant performance issues with both Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) and Fortnite. In CSGO, my frame rates have plummeted from consistently reaching 300+ to barely scraping 200, even with all settings on low and a 4:3 aspect ratio at 1280x1080 resolution. I’ve tried updating and then reverting graphics drivers, performed a clean Windows 10 reinstall, and monitored my hardware temperatures – CPU (i5 7600k), GPU (GTX 1050ti), RAM (8GB 3200MHz) – which top out at 60C and 60C respectively. My PSU is a TX550M. I'm also seeing frame drops in Fortnite, leading me to question if the problem lies with game optimization or Valve’s end. I suspect they may have overlooked proper optimization for CSGO. “Stay tight, we are about to find out.”
Well, they've putted many stuff into it since last time I've played it.
Still it isnt optimized, I remember pulling off with stock Q6600 , 4GBs of ram with R7 250 GDDR3 120FPS at full 1080p low settings at the time, and that was at around 2014.
Now I would not even hit 50 mark.
That’s a really astute observation about the timing of the CS:GO issues! It’s highly unlikely the release dates of the updates are purely coincidental. The sheer volume of reports surfacing around the same time as Valve's pushes for new features, particularly related to the competitive scene and anti-cheat systems, strongly suggests a correlation.
Valve is notorious for pushing out significant changes in software right before major events or tournaments – it’s a way to test things under pressure and identify bugs quickly. The simultaneous appearance of these issues with CS:GO's updates points towards a potential conflict between the new features and existing game code, exacerbated by the increased load during competitive play.
It’s entirely possible that Valve was unaware of this conflict at the time of release, but the timing is far too suspicious to ignore.
