Big updates on the horizon. AMD is launching new CPUs for the AM4 and AM5 lines. There will be two options: one for AM4 and another for AM5. The AM4 CPU is described as a budget-friendly 4/8 model without an integrated GPU – a great deal. The AM5 CPU promises a 6/12 performance unit without an integrated GPU, expected to surpass the previous 7500F in capability. However, the single-core performance is weaker, and multi-core results are also not impressive according to the benchmarks. It’s wise to hold off until these chips hit the market in July, when prices may drop further.
