Hey everyone, I've upgraded my setup with some new components and am considering a new CPU. Not sure if I should opt for the I9-9900K, hold off until the 10 series, or go AMD.
At the same cost, you can choose between a 3900X and a 3950X, both offering nearly identical gaming power. They’re also excellent for tasks like video editing, and background work won’t noticeably slow you down.
Hold on, the Ryzen won't significantly boost gaming performance, and the 10th generation isn't available yet (and likely won't be faster since games don't utilize that many cores). While the 9th generation remains expensive and your existing board may not fit those 8-core processors.
