I'm setting up a new PC for a friend and everything seems to be working smoothly. The system runs an MSI Pro Z690-A with an I7-13700K processor, paired with an RTX 3050 and Samsung 980 Pro graphics. The M.2 Corsair Vengance 2x16GB RAM sticks are installed, along with a 3200MHz MSI 240R liquid cooler and a Thermaltake Smart 700W power supply. The CPU light appears on the motherboard and graphics card, and the CPU cooler is functioning properly. All connections in the case are intact. I tested the RAM by swapping it with a known working set, but there was no change. It might be worth checking if the CPU has two 8-pin connectors on the board, while the PSU only has one available. This could indicate a possible connector issue or a faulty motherboard. The CPU pins look fine overall.
Raptor Lake CPUs (13th generation) require a BIOS upgrade, while Z690 boards were released for Alder Lake (12th generation).
