I tried running 1.45-1.5 on all-over clocks for about three to four months, trying to squeeze more performance out of the RAM and CPU. I’m not sure if it was a good idea, but I’m not confident I could find another AM4 chip without buying new. It seems like I might have to put in extra effort just to recover from this mistake. If it was overvolted for that long, the board could have been damaged. Keep the clocks at stock for now and consider reaching out to a service shop to test them. It might cost a bit, but every day is a learning opportunity. Good luck, and update the thread once you find out what happened.

I ran 1.45-1.5 on all-over clocks for about 3-4 months trying to get more performance from the RAM and CPU... I’m not sure if it was a smart move, but I’m not sure where else I could find another AM4 chip without buying new. It seems like I might have to put in extra effort just to fix this mistake. If it was overvolted for that long, the board could definitely be damaged. Keep the clocks at stock for now and reach out to a service shop to test them. I completed the overclock on all-over clocks from 1.45 to 1.5 for roughly three to four months, trying to extract more performance from the RAM and CPU... I’m not sure if this is the right path, but I’m not confident in finding another AM4 chip without purchasing new ones. It seems like I might have to put in extra effort just to recover from this mistake, hehe. If it was overvolted for that duration, it could definitely have harmed the board. Keep the clocks at stock for now and consider reaching out to a service shop to test them. It might cost you a bit, but every day counts and we all learn from our errors. Good luck, and please update the thread once you find out what happened.

Alright everyone, I’ve got an update on the overclocking situation! There’s also a strange question or inquiry—my BIOS says my 1500x is running at stock clocks with 2400MHz and 3.5GHz, even though I recently downloaded Ryzen Master and was experimenting with it. I completely forgot to check the CPU-Z and HWMonitor; they both reported a higher speed of 3.95GHz. In Ryzen Master, I can set the RAM to overclock, but it won’t exceed 2400MHz like it did in the BIOS (where it was 3066MHz). I’m wondering which guide to follow—Ryzen Master or the BIOS for the B350 Tomahawk? Any help would be greatly appreciated. P.S. grammar might not be perfect, but thanks!
