New computer starts up only after the second try
Hello, I'm dealing with a problem where my new PC won't turn on properly. Even after trying everything, it doesn't display any video and seems to be stuck. The HDD LEDs aren't flashing, but when I press the power button or reset it, it boots normally. My system specs include an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 with a B550M DS3H processor, 1.5 GHz, DDR4 8GB RAM, an NVMe SSD, and a GTX 4060 GPU. I've checked fast startup settings, updated the BIOS, cleared CMOS, cleaned the SSD, and even swapped in a different GPU (GTX 650) to see if that helps. All drivers are current, and Windows 11 is installed at the latest version. I'm not sure if a BIOS setting is the issue, but I'm hoping someone has faced this before and knows how to fix it.
I encountered this problem a couple of years ago with the RAM module. We initially assumed it was the board, so we sent it back for repair and received a replacement. When we tried another RAM kit, everything functioned correctly. I've had similar issues with Geil kits in the past; if you can test a different RAM and let us know, that would help. Also, ensure XMP/DOCP/EXPO settings are disabled during testing.
I question Fast Boot's role here. It seems safe to keep it on. Fast Startup is much more likely to cause problems.
