I recently enhanced my computer and looked for advice on m.2 options beyond the ones previously suggested. Here are some suggestions: changing slots, using another slot, defaulting BIOS, updating BIOS, or ignoring BIOS settings. The new components include a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GIGABYTE B650 AORUS ELITE AX, and G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo. The boot drive, Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe, functions properly. The previous WD Blue 3D NAND 2TB SSD also worked fine. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Verify the M.2 slot's genetic code. I faced a comparable problem with another NVMe device.

B650 only accepts m.2 NVME drives, not m2. It supports SATA but not M.2. To use the SATA in your PC, you’ll need a PCI-E to M.2 adapter or a compatible adapter/case, or an external M.2 case that works with SATA for external storage.
