New Build: Struggling with little stress, I'm really new here, can you assist?
Hi everyone, just completed my first build. 7800xt, ryzen 5 5600, b550m, 32gb ram, 1tb m.2, up and running! Achieving 180 fps at 1440p on PoE2 on ultra, happy camper, EXCEPT I occasionally experience glitches—like my mouse if I spin the cursor in circles it stutters. I initially thought it was just the mouse, tried a new one, but it didn’t help. My character can also lag sometimes, and after an hour on the PC, even basic navigation feels a bit jittery. How do I figure out what’s happening? I’m unsure if my drivers are correct, I only downloaded Adrenalin for my GPU... and that’s about it.
Check if this M.2 model is brand new or an older part of your setup. If it's the latter, consider using DDU to remove the previous graphics driver.
Is your mouse running at 8000Hz polling and has you adjusting its voltage? Check if your 5600 is properly overvoltaged.
I believe there might be network spikes. I have sysmon open and notice a lot of disk activity (though that seems normal) and significant network traffic (which isn’t good). CPU and memory usage are very stable. I wasn’t playing a game; instead, I was browsing Zillow and my mouse became extremely unresponsive for about 5 seconds, then stuttered for 10 seconds. What’s going on?
