new build issues but experiencing discord crashes intermittently and battlenet constantly updating to hide itself. Also, when searching for programs in the start menu, they appear and vanish during typing. Despite testing three motherboards (two MSI Z790s, one Asus), connecting most components works fine. I have the latest drivers on Windows 10. Any advice would be appreciated as I've reinstalled Windows multiple times now.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! You need to rebuild the bootable USB installer for Windows 10/11 and then reinstall the operating system in offline mode. Install all platform-specific drivers manually via an elevated command—right-click the installer, select Run as Administrator, then proceed with the OS update. What is your motherboard's BIOS version right now?
The bios version is 0809 x64. I've attempted installation multiple times both online and offline, but the problems continue. Discord/battlenet also face issues before downloading any drivers.
