Hey everyone. I just set up a basic system:
Ryzen 5600g
Gigabyte B550M K
Two 8gb G Orion 3200 RAM sticks
Thermaltake Smart 700w PSU (80 Plus)
I’m getting power—CPU, case, and PSU are spinning—but the monitor doesn’t display anything (using a DVI to HDMI cable). I think something might be missing. I’ve tried resetting the CPU and RAM (A2 and B2), but it’s still not working. Could it be related to the BIOS? I saw that the MOBO was compatible with this model right out of the box. Any advice would be great.

Did you link it to the motherboard or the GPU? It should be connected to the GPU.

Do you know for a fact that the cable works? Cheapo adapter cables are frequently junk, it's best to try and find something with an HDMI input while troubleshooting. The motherboard should work out of the box with this CPU.
I assume no GPU is involved? I'm hoping not given that dreadful PSU. I don't see one listed, but it's worth double-checking.

I linked it straight to the motherboard. I also have a GPU ready for testing.

Linked the GPU. Despite this, nothing appeared on the display during power-on. All fans started, including those for the GPU.

The fans operate continuously or briefly, and you notice any illuminated LEDs on the MB display.

They start rotating and continue doing so. MOBO lacks any LEDs.
