New build, need some thoughts :)
I just came up with some money and thought about building a new PC using a few old components. So far I’ve managed to get 32GB of RAM for free and found a 3070 chip at a good price on Pcpartpicker. I’m keeping my old power supply, though it mentions it might be problematic—it’s missing an 8-pin connector. Please share your thoughts before I buy, or let me know if I should look for something better.
Should I consider buying 64GB RAM now, or try the 32GB first to see if I need more later?
I’m unsure about the CPU choice—I’m not sure if a Ryzen is right, and whether I should switch to a different motherboard. Here are some links I found:

Garbage orange labels Corsair VS isn't a good choice! For a 3070 model, you should get a solid PSU with at least 650w.
You can use an AM4 motherboard with a 5700X3D CPU, though adding four RAM sticks could affect stability.
The main purposes for using your PC will be determined by its intended functions and applications.
Gaming and watching movies I think I'll go with the link you shared. It looks like a better choice and I plan to swap the four RAM cards into two for a few months. My budget for MOBO and CPU is about £360, and I have an Asus dual OC GeForce RTX 3070 with 8GB RAM. I also own an Asus ROG Strig B450-F gaming PC, but I know I can't do much overclocking with it, so I'm considering some experiments.
