I'm facing unpredictable crashes while playing Apex Legends, CoH3 and Baldurs gate 3. All drivers are current and I'm using Windows 11 Home N. Memtest 86 showed three errors initially, but after reseating the RAM, two consecutive passes improved things. My Event Viewer logs a 'volmger' error before each crash, yet no clear fix has been found. Various fixes have been tried, such as replacing the motherboard, relocating the SSD to a different slot or purchasing a new one, downgrading to Windows 10. Anyone have advice?

Could you attempt to exchange the RAM? Are you certain they are placed in the proper slots?

Download or execute memtest86; it's the simplest test to perform and the best chance to detect a clear issue.

Only RAM is considered. It's usually better to check one RAM module individually, though I question whether a completely failed module would still pass tests if all are run together.
