Hi, I just set up a system configuration and have encountered performance hiccups in games like Valorant and Apex Legends. FPS drops suddenly to zero often. Noticed this in titles such as CyberPunk with path tracing active, but not in RDR2 or after playing FurMark for an hour. Specs include a Ryzen 5 7600X on a Gigabyte B850 Gaming X WiFi6E motherboard with the latest F5 BIOS, Corsair Vengeance RAM (EXPO enabled), 850W power supply, and a 360mm AIO monitor. Windows 11 Pro 24H2 64bit runs smoothly, staying under 60°C during idle, with temperatures around 35-40°C. From the overlay graphs in Valorant, it seems CPU issues are the main culprit. I've tried closing all overlay apps like Steam and Discord, reinstalling EXPO/XMP, adjusting graphic drivers, changing power mode to max performance, and re-installing games after stability tests.

Consider resetting and reinstalling the GPU drivers. This resolved the stuttering issue with my AMD system.

I meant to explain the concept of a clean reset in more detail. Since updating the GPU drivers didn't help, I'll focus on what a clean reset entails and how it might resolve issues.

Use DDU version 18.1.3.1 to remove all GPU drivers from your PC. After that, switch to the Microsoft Basic video adapter; it will handle the change automatically. Visit the Nvidia website and download the latest GPU drivers for a fresh installation. Choose the clean install option when prompted.

I cleared all GPU drivers with DDU and only installed the driver from the NVidia site. The issue continues. I reduced the resolution to 1080p and limited the FPS to 144, but stuttering remains at the same intervals.
