New Build
Case: Phantek Enthoo Pro 2
Core: Intel i7-12700k
RAM: Crucial 2 x 8gb @ 3200 MHz
Storage: CT 1gb and CT2gb SSDs
All components functioning correctly. The system appears on the ASUS UEFI BIOS Utility screen during setup. Steps:
- Press F8 to start booting
- 'System cannot find any bootable devices' – Acceptable
Return to ASUS Utility screen
- Press F7 for Advanced Mode
- Choose BOOT
- Turn on CSM and select UEFI
- Verify
Screen now displays 2gb and 1gb SSDs as bootable options
Pick one SSD and press F8
BIOS prompts: 'Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press key__'
Repeat the key press continuously.
Experimented with different settings in Advanced mode – no success.
Tried re-seating CMOS and even connected an older SSD with Windows 10, but nothing worked.
Currently unfamiliar with computer internals; mostly use for gaming, but appreciate your help so I can rest better at night.
Thanks, everyone (hope it helps)
