Hi all, I made my new build few days ago but am having issues with my CPU fan. When it is connected with the motherboard, I do not get any video output, when the fan is not connected the computer starts as expected (albeit with a note that my cpu fan isn't detected... as it isnt connected), does anyone know if the fan is to blame or if anything else is going on? Some details about the build: - Mobo: ROG Strix B760-i - CPU: intel 12100 - CPU fan: NH-L9i-17xx When the fan is connected a white light is lit on the motherboard, something that the manual says is "VGA". The fan itself spins when it is connected

Test connecting a system fan to the CPU fan port. If the issue persists, the motherboard may be defective. If it resolves, the CPU fan itself is likely faulty.

The BIOS alert about the CPU fan missing can be dismissed (provided your fan is elsewhere connected), and it may be turned off in BIOS. If the fan connector remains in its header, it’s likely a wiring issue.
