I conducted my own research on compatible components and preferences. Today I’m placing an order, but I wanted to check what others think. I already own a NIB case from several years back, so stock availability isn’t an issue. From the information I gathered, the Ryzen 7 performs better in games compared to the Ryzen 9 thanks to its X3D Cache. It also seems more suitable than the higher core count of the Ryzen 9. The RAM is listed as AMD Expo 6000, but it appears this model is the top choice for AMD at the moment. I made sure to select an ATX 3.1 PSU, which might be a bit excessive, but I aimed for a system that’s future-proof and easier to upgrade. I chose AMD because, although Intel processors are mostly stable now, Intel appears near the end of its current line, making it unlikely they’ll support LGA 1700. The AM5 board should still last a long time. I opted for AMD despite thinking newer Intel chips might not work with LGA 1700, but the AM5 should still be viable for future upgrades. I reviewed many monitor options and selected a decent one. I’m leaning away from OLED displays since they seemed inconsistent; I was considering the GIGABYTE AORUS CO49DQ 49" QD OLED but noticed frequent power cycling issues, making me hesitant. Ideally, I’d prefer it for its size and comparable price to my current pick. My gaming titles include Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Sekiro, Baldur’s Gate 3, Dragons Dogma 2, Oblivion Remaster, Skyrim, and Witcher 3. I’m sure I missed something or there might be an error in my findings. Otherwise, I’ll place the order tonight.

You possess a solid build, but there are still improvements to be made. What significance does the liquid cooler hold for you? Would you like ARGB support? If yes, there are suitable fans available that can substitute the ones included with the AIO, as I have removed them. The CPU cooler I installed performs just as well as 360mm AIOs during testing. The motherboard I chose is superior to the ASUS model, particularly in terms of VRMs. Make sure to update the BIOS for the board when installing; this will ensure the CPU functions properly. You can perform this update using the BIOS flashback tool on the board without needing to install the CPU. I own a Gigabyte 4k 240hz QD OLED monitor and really enjoy it. It has not encountered any major problems.

I incorporated the highest quality non-OLED monitor into the setup.

I also installed a 64GB memory kit with faster RAM speeds. The fastest Gen 5 NVMe drive is now used for the operating system, and a rapid 4TB storage drive is dedicated to games. I replaced the expensive 5070 Ti with a 5080 model.

How will you link the Logitech Z906 speakers to your PC? None of the recommended motherboards support 5.1 or 7.1 analog inputs. You can connect it via the optical cable, but then any amplification or sound enhancement becomes difficult. I also have a collection of Logitec Z906 speakers and appreciate them.

What is your overall budget for this PC?

I don't want any RBG stuff. I hate the lights. I was actually looking for a case without a window, but they are harder to find now from decent manufactures. My black 4000D will do fine. I'll just be shutting all the lights off and no reason to buy another case when I have a really nice one NIB. It's just been sitting in the basement for several years, but it was still factory sealed and in mint condition.
I went with the 280 AIO because the 4000D (I have the classic version) doesn't support a 360 at the top and front mounting it is going to be a pain because of the size of the GPU. I know I'll never be able to connect it properly, or the tubes will be resting on the GPU at the very least.
If that air cooler you have is able to cool the CPU I bought without an AIO, that would be great. I really didn't want an AIO but couldn't find anything else that I felt safe using as far as air coolers.
I'll go through the rest of your list and also check out that monitor after lunch and then post back.
Thanks.
EDIT: For the 5.1 I am planning on using this:

What monitor do you have, the AORUS CO49DQ?
This is the issue I'm talking about with that:

The Thermalright Pretor 130 is an impressive CPU cooler.
Here is a review
. You can coat the glass with black paint to achieve that non-windowed appearance. There are numerous ways to make a window look different nowadays.
Skipping the ARGB option seems like the best decision for me. I tried it once and won't do it again.
The optical cable for the Logitec z906 will function properly.
This is the monitor I currently use
. It's a Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2P 31.5" 4k 240hz QD OLED. I absolutely love it and can handle a lot of frames with my 5090.
My monitor has never experienced that black screen problem.
