The setup involves two components: a 2TB SABRENT 2TB Rocket NVMe SSD and an ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F gaming graphics card with AMD Radeon RTX 3080. The build uses the latest drivers available as of August 13, 2023, priced at $536.99. Current BIOS version is 1636, and I've applied the AMD Expo setting. Despite changing only one BIOS option, I'm experiencing slow 35-second boot times. It seems minor BIOS tweaks might be affecting performance.

Here, I've managed to bring the setup down to around 35 seconds from the time it took before launch.

Thanks guys! I'd rather know this is normal and be completely OK with it instead of wondering..did I do something wrong or get something faulty. Case closed. Hinjima and GuiltySpark 's answers are perfect.

Thanks for the feedback. Before watching the video, I was curious about what personally reduced my boot times in my setup. After reviewing the comments, it seems enabling MemoryContextRestore requires PowerDownEnable as well—something the video didn’t mention. This might explain why some users are seeing better results. YMMV.

I avoided long startup delays thanks to the updates for AM5, which reduced the time from about five minutes to half a minute. Before setting up the system, I updated my BIOS, and I haven’t made any further changes to speed it up. I power off my PC roughly every three months, so it’s not a major issue for me.
