I’m phenom pumpkin, a tech influencer who mainly covers phones. My i3 4th gen CPU is struggling to open Final Cut Pro on a VM, so I’m planning a new PC. The idea is a dream PC from 2015—though I can’t afford much else. Here’s the list I have:

PC list link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GsQGxg
Max budget: -$240
Need to fix my list
eBay only
Already own an old monitor (90fps 1080p TV, 32-inch)
Has a cardboard case but would like to upgrade it
AAA games at 1080p 120fps

PCPartPicker list:
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 3.4 GHz Quad-Core ($35.00)
CPU cooler: NZXT T120 RGB 50.18 CFM ($9.99)

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 ATX LGA1151 ($45.00)
Memory: Crucial CT4K8G4DFD824A 32 GB DDR4-2400 CL17 ($35.00)
Storage: Samsung PM961 256 GB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME ($14.95)
Video card: MSI R9 380 4GD5T OC Radeon R9 380 4 GB ($36.81)
Power supply: Cooler Master i500 500 W (80+ Bronze, ATX) ($18.89)
Total: $198.33

If it suits you and you're content, then that's enough.

When working on a very tight budget, even with shipping costs included, it can still reach around $200. You upgrade to an i7 8700 CPU that supports Windows 11. It comes with 16 Gb of DDR4 memory and a GTX 1050ti. The R9 380 is still not fully compatible with new AAA titles as driver updates have stopped. A case is better than a cardboard box, and you have a 2 TB hard drive available.

Can someone assist in creating a cardboard PC case or a case for $2?
