I intend to rely on my live USB with persistence for Ubuntu without installing anything. However, I still have to enable the nomodeset option during startup. I've updated the NVIDIA drivers, but they don't work after rebooting. It's also not possible to access persistent data at this time.

I checked the guidelines on the wiki and then configured the settings to make it persistent.
