I'm working on launching a gaming hub and need a way to stream all PCS and consoles to about 20 TVs with ease. Right now we're evaluating Gefen and Vanco options, but with 70 unique devices this could cost $50k–$100k. Are there more affordable alternatives that let us switch between any device in the building like flipping channels?

If a bit of delay isn't too big, options like the TC-Matrixtx are available. Vision stopped supporting them without a replacement, but similar products exist from other manufacturers. In short, you can connect up to 100 source devices and 100 destination devices by linking one source to another. You can share IDs between devices, which might mean you're not limited by the count. Vision claimed it was unique proprietary tech, but I'm sure it's just a general standard device.
